Biles also reflected on the need to stay away from international competitions while traveling abroad, as she commented in one of her Instagram stories:
“Traveling together internationally without participating in a competition is not good”
Simone Biles has already gone to Las Vegas with some of her friends. She also attended a concert by famous DJ Christopher Cornstock, better known to the world as Marshmello.

Simone Biles once recalled her mental state during the Tokyo Olympics and why she had to withdraw from most events. The gymnast has only won two medals in this quadrennial event, compared to her fantastic Olympic debut in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
In his conversation with the media after the Tokyo Olympics, Biles remarked:
“Say until you’re 30, you have all your sight (then) one morning you wake up, you don’t see anything, but people tell you to go on and do your daily job like you still have your sight. You’d be lost, wouldn’t you? That’s the only thing I can relate to. I’ve been doing gymnastics for 18 years. I woke up, I lost it. How am I supposed to go on with my day?” [via TheGuardian]
For the uninitiated, Biles developed the twisties phenomenon in the midst of the Tokyo Olympics. Not wanting to risk her career, the gymnast decided to withdraw before the women’s team all-around finals. At the same time, Biles was also dealing with the mental trauma from the Larry Nassar affair.
Despite the initial backlash she received for her sudden withdrawal, Simone Biles has earned the respect of almost everyone for speaking out about her mental health, including Olympic legends like Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt. Biles made a strong comeback at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won four Olympic medals [including three gold].
