Shooting in Stockton, California leaves at least 4 dead, 10 injured: police

Four people were killed and ten others injured in a mass shooting in Stockton, California, on Saturday evening, authorities said.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said in a news conference that children and adults were shot.

Initial indications “suggest this may have been a targeted incident,” a sheriff’s office spokesperson said.

Detectives continue to work to determine a possible motive.

The shooting happened during a family gathering in a banquet hall.
