SECP, Directorate of Legal Education MOU to form the next generation of corporate lawyers

Karachi: The Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan has signed a memorandum of understanding with the country’s legal education authority to strengthen collaboration and improve legal training in business and financial law.
The SECP and the Directorate of Legal Education (DLE) concluded the agreement to improve the capacities of law professionals and provide targeted training on business, businesses and insurance to law students, academics, lawyers and prosecutors.
The signature ceremony was followed by the Federal Minister of Law and judge Azam Nazeer Tarar, the president of the SECP Akif Saeed and the commissioners of the Secp Zeeshan Rehman Khattak, Muzzafar Ahmed Mirza and Mujtaba Ahmad Lodhi. Executive director Mubasher Saeed Saddozai and the Director of the Dle Barrister Osama Malik also participated, as well as main representatives of the association of the Supreme Court Bar.
