Think of a keyboard switch like lighting switches. They have a fixed point where they activate, and all they can point out is if they are in one of the two states. Sallery switches are more like light gradation buttons. Unless you already use linear switches, you may miss part of the sharpness and comments you get from a touchscreen or clicky mechanical switch.
Although the biggest Keychron Q6, it is currently at the top of our favorite mechanical keyboards, if you don’t need the NUM cushion, you could enjoy the additional desktop space that you can recover with Q1 IL. They are otherwise extremely similar boards and you will save $ 50 in the process.
