Q. Congratulations for winning the Grand Final of the BGI 2025! How are you feeling right now? Can you describe the emotions that go through the team?
Saumraj: I don’t feel particularly strong at the moment. I think the first time we have won a trophy, it brought a very different type of emotion. Now, I seem to cross a mixture of feelings, so I don’t know when real overwhelming emotion will hit me. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
The role of Krafton in the education of talents through the BGMI Rising Star program
Q. You are one of the ESports players selected for the BGMI Rising Star program. How does Krafton help you exactly in your growth?
Saumraj: First of all, I would like to thank Krafton India for having chosen me for the BGMI Rising Star program. I signed up for this and I was fortunately selected because I met all the criteria and other requirements. After the announcement of my selection, I had an aerial photo and an aerial platform arrived in my room filled with things that will help me develop my social networks. Q. What is the first person with whom you wanted to share the victory of the BGIS 2025?
Saumraj: I celebrated the victory of the BGIS 2025 with everyone. But the very first people with whom I wanted to share it are my parents. I was at home for about nine months after living several training camps, and it was a different situation for me. Basically, I felt bad to be at home, not win anything and play the game.
There was no support for anyone except my mother. She supported me day and night, to provide food to everything else. I used to play the game constantly, and my mother brought food for me so I would eat. I think my mother and father will be very happy now.
Q. What are your opinions on the increase in the prize pool of Krafton India via the checkout system? Should they continue this in upcoming events?
Saumraj: This is a very nice initiative by Krafton India. This is a good thing that when you open a BGIS 2025 box, part of the sum is added to the Prize Pool. I even asked them that if these cases were not good, why include them? And they said it was a try for now, but they will give us more articles at stake, and that will further increase the Prize Pool.
