Although she will be leaving the Royal Lodge, she has no plans to stay too far away, as a source revealed: “She is looking for a place to live in Windsor,” as confirmed by PEOPLE Magazine.
The 66-year-old author’s move will certainly keep her close to her daughters and other loved ones. Staying in Windsor will keep her 45 minutes from Princess Beatrice, who travels between St. James’s Palace and the Cotswolds.

News of Ferguson’s desire to stay in Windsor comes after she was reportedly considering numerous options for her new home. Her spokesperson exclusively told PEOPLE Magazine: “She is currently evaluating a number of options and no final decisions have been made. »
Rumors circulating about Ferguson’s move claimed the former royal could end up in an annex or converted barn at Princess Beatrice’s country home. However, his spokesperson denied the rumors, saying Ferguson had no plans to live with his daughter.

Although Ferguson has been staying at Royal Lodge with her former partner, Andrew, she will not be moving into his new home with him. Instead, the two will go their separate ways after living at the royal residence since 2008.
