Samsung Galaxy A26 and Galaxy A36 Review: End but dull budget phones

Samsung has a Soft throne. Or at least the company acts this way. Its latest budgetary phones – the Galaxy A26 and the Galaxy A36 – check all the boxes. But next to the beautifully designed handsets of Nothing and Motorola at comparable prices, he feels that Samsung is taking place on the brand and the fact that you can probably collect one of these devices from a carrier in a few minutes.
And many people will do exactly that, thanks to various promotions of carriers who will tease an A36 or A26 “free” if you register for a specific cell plan (index: they are never free). So if you plan to buy one, which one should you get? The $ 400 Galaxy A36 or the $ 300 Galaxy A26? I spent more than a week with both as a main phone, and the first thing I will say is that they are easily the best phones in the series A Galaxy in Samsung years. It is not a high bar, however.
Easy one
The piano-black color of these phones feels dated, without forgetting that it easily attracts stains and dust. Samsung calls him great black for the A36, but if something is more an average gray. Choose the lavender if you can, although the A26 is only available in a darker shade of black. Look at the competition – the magnificent bright blue of the Motorola motorcycle G of Motorola and its texture in vegan leather, or the unique styles of the Nothing Phone series (3A), all less than $ 400 – and you will feel stolen. Telephones are personal and should have character; These galaxies are devoid of it.
These are fairly large phones with 6.7 -inch Amoled screens, with a 120 Hz cooling rate. I had no trouble using them on sunny days because the screen becomes pleasant and bright, although the colors are launched when they increase things. The A36 becomes slightly brighter and the colors do not seem so wilted in sunny conditions. The screen is interrupted with a tear -style selfie camera on the A26, while you get a more modern floating camera on the A36.
On the equipment, the A26 still keeps the microSD slit, so you can extend storage in front of the internal 128 GB. You do not have such a luxury on the A36, which seems strange given its higher price. The A36 do Have a fingerprint sensor in the internship compared to a capacitive sensor on the A26 power button, although I found it slower and not as reliable.
Here is the enigma: I had a better global experience on the Galaxy A26 than the Galaxy A36. It’s confusing given the price difference of $ 100 between the two – it’s more better, right? It was very pronounced with performance.
