Allen’s words allegedly target David Harbour’s infidelity

One track, “Madeline,” shocked listeners with the story of an “arrangement” between partners and a lover who broke the rules.
“We had an arrangement,” Allen sings. “Be discreet and don’t be blatant. There had to be payment. It had to be with strangers. But you’re not a stranger, Madeline.”

Lily Allen’s ‘West End Girl’ Could Derail Harbor’s Career

Behind Allen’s musical success lies a darker side, one that could harm Harbour’s career.
According to Daily Mail For those in the know, the timing of “West End Girl” is no coincidence.
Netflix sources reportedly believe the album release was aimed at “undermining” the actor just ahead of the final season of “Stranger Things,” which premieres Nov. 27.
“It was extremely emotional for him and for the cast to bring this story to a close, and it’s something he’s very proud of,” a Netflix insider said of Harbour. “But there’s no way he can go on the press tour while this is happening.”
The 50-year-old also has major films coming up, including a new “Avengers” film, but the ongoing backlash could affect his work.
While Hollywood is still sensitive after the #MeToo era, even rumors of bad behavior can cause major problems, and Allen’s words put Harbor in the middle of it all.

Inside Allen and Harbor’s relationship

Lily Allen and David Harbour’s relationship began in 2019, when she had just ended a long-term romance and he was rising to fame thanks to “Stranger Things.”
They married a year later in a fun Las Vegas ceremony performed by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
At first, it seemed like a fairytale love story, with Harbor even calling Allen a “beautiful, incredible woman that I love.”
But the cracks quickly appeared. While the actress was thriving in London’s West End with her play “2:22 A Ghost Story,” her ex-husband was in New York and was reportedly jealous of her success.
He even sent her “bad luck flowers,” joking that if she received good reviews he “would be unhappy.”
Eventually, their estrangement led to a difficult time, during which Harbor suggested they open up their marriage.
Allen recorded this painful conversation in the release of the album’s title track, saying, “It doesn’t make me feel good… it makes me really sad.”

Lily Allen’s revenge hits hard as David Harbor disappears from sight

By 2023, the marriage had collapsed. In February this year, they confirmed their split, just after Allen was seen on dating app Raya under the name ‘Dallas Major’.
She also opened an OnlyFans account, where she apparently earns more than just from music streaming.
During this time, Harbor disappeared from the public eye, deactivating comments on social media as online criticism mounted.
Allen’s new words revealed the pain behind the scenes.
In “Pussy Palace,” she describes finding “a shoebox full of handwritten letters” from other women in Harbor’s Brooklyn home, the same one featured in Architectural Digest in 2023.
Whether all the lyrics are true or not, “West End Girl” is bad news for Harbour, whose whereabouts are still unknown.
Meanwhile, in the actor’s defense, a source close to Harbor believes Allen’s album is all about cashing in rather than payback.
“She was told that if she wanted to sell albums she should sing about David, and now she’s taking advantage of it,” they said.
