Ryan Coogler has officially announced that Denzel Washington will be part of Marvel’s third opus Black panther franchise.

“I think he is the greatest living actor. And in terms of what he means for our culture, forget him,” he said. “I have been talking about it for a long time, and I was surprised when he mentioned it. But it is not like it was not true.”
