Russell T Davies wants you to stop

We can officially add Russell T davies to the list of creative people who have become irritated by fans who wish updates on a particular project to which they are inextricably linked. Think of George RR Martin and Winter windsor James Gunn and The Batman II part. Now, the Doctor Who Showrunner from 2005 to 2010 and still since 2023 would like you to stop asking him Doctor Who Questions.
There is no doubt that these requests have not become more intense thanks to the total lack of updates on the future of the show. The Ncuti Gatwa race as a character ended when the fifteenth doctor regenerated – at the end – at the end of May, and the fans still have no idea what is going on, if applicable.
“There is nothing to report, nothing happens. You will know when you know, when we know it. I don’t know,” Davies said on the Pilot television Podcast this week (via Doctor Who TV).
He also pointed out: “Conversations are between the BBC and Disney. I don’t work for any of them. I work for Bad Wolf, so I am not one of these rooms. So I literally don’t know. And even the people I work with every day, so they couldn’t know what is really going on. I will, “I don’t know. I really don’t know.“”
In another recent interview, this time with Big Issue magazine (via Deadline), he spoke of the fact that even if he devoted a large part of his career to Doctor Whoit is not all He finished. “I like Doctor WhoBut I don’t have it. It is not mine. So, in the end, my heart will always be with the things I have ”, including programs he has created as Queer that people.
The magazine asked him questions about the future of Doctor WhoBecause frankly, People die from wanting to know. He gave an answer in a word: “Create!” It is not entirely saying Batman Part II Speculators to “get off Matt [Reeves]”Nuts”, but we can degenerate there soon.
