Rockies meet Diamondbacks, aim for the first victory of the season of the season

The acting manager of Colorado, Warren Schaeffer, had a match – and a celebration – which he will never forget on Saturday.
The shaving cream on her face was a dead gift.
After the Rockies overcome a five-point deficit for a 14-12 victory against Arizona in Phoenix, Schaeffer was wrapped in a cart of equipment and rolled in the shower room. Let the soles start.
“Careful Baseball Tradition,” said Schaeffer, who won his first victory in his fifth game since his promotion to replace the Manager Bud Black last Sunday.
“They take you in the shower and pour all kinds of liquids over you. Anyway. ‘Chivi’ (Angel Chivorli) had listerine, he threw himself on me. Everything happened. It was great.”
The Rockies will try to rely on what Schaeffer described the first victory “an exceptionally memorable” first victory “to win his first victory of the season of the season.
The right recruit Chase Dollander (2-4, 6.88 ERA) must oppose the right-hander of Diamondbacks, Merrill Kelly (4-2, 3.71).
The Rockies lost their first series 14 and are 8-37. Despite the victory, they are still at the worst start of the modern history of major leagues (since 1901).
Colorado has experienced seasonal summits in runs and hits (19) while overcoming a deficit of 11-6 in sixth to break a sequence of four consecutive defeats. They had lost 12 out of 13.
Jordan Beck had three shots, including two of the five Colorado circuits, and Hunter Goodman and Kyle Farmer each landed and had four products produced. Ezequiel Tovar managed a career summit of five strokes, including a Homer, in his second match after missing a month with a left hip injury.
“My main goal was to put the ball into play and help the team win the victory,” said Tovar.
The DiamondBacks, on the other hand, lost a chance for their first sequence of three -game victories in a month when the enclosure of the lifts granted eight points in four rounds.
The relief may not be far away. Closer to Justin Martinez could be activated as soon as the three -game Los Angeles Dodgers series starts on Monday, said manager Torey Lovullo.
Martinez launched 10 launches in a round of an Arizona League match on Saturday and launched 10 others in the lift enclosure. Diamondbacks debate it directly to the majors or give it a short rehabilitation assignment to Triple-A Reno.
“He is close closely,” said Lovullo.
Kelly has shown no recent sign of cramps in the hamstrings who forced her to get out of two games earlier this season with consecutive quality beginnings against the Giants of New York and San Francisco both.
Kelly won seven rounds for the first time this season during a 2-1 victory at the Giants last Monday and is 3-1 with an MPM of 2.36 in his last seven departures. It has a 7-3 file with an MPM of 3.51 in 15 departures against the Rockies. Tovar is 7 for 16 with two solo circuits against Kelly.
Dollander, the choice of rebalancing of the Rockies in 2023, made a departure to Triple-A Albuquerque this season before being promoted. He enters after his best start to the season, a 2-1 defeat in Texas on Monday during which he abandoned two points on a safe blow – a two -point circuit from Wyatt Langford – in six rounds.
