The legendary actor has resurfaced in the United States in the middle of serious verbal attacks of Paul Simon’s daughter about his decision to sell his childhood home to developers.

Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva, had bought the house from the musician and his wife, Edie Brickell, in 2022 before moving to Spain with his family two years later.

The actor appeared in the hall of JFK airport earlier during the day, disguised in a relaxed set, in the middle of a reaction from the daughter of Paul, Lulu, on his recently sold property.

Richard looked elegant in a more blazer joggers combo, associated with sneakers and a white face hat while he was hanging out in the airport hall.

Lulu had protested the actor in a series of positions now deleted after learning that the developer who had bought the house now plans to demolish the structure.

She reiterated her aversion to the actor in an Instagram post, declaring that he had bought his childhood at home from his parents with the promise to deal with it as a condition for the purchase.

Lulu continued that Richard never held up to this promise; Instead, he gently sold the house to a developer as nine distinct plots and has never even bothered to move.

According to the Daily Mail, the musician’s daughter concluded her rage in an additional article featuring photos of her late pets, which were buried on the property, with legend:

“I hope my dead animals are buried in this backyard you haunt you until you go down into a slow and relentless madness.”

While the developers were preparing to demolish the house, the experts in the recovery of a New York company, identified as Hudson Valley House Parts, revealed that they had taken possession of certain architectural and historical rooms of the house.

As reported by people, the company noted that the architectural jewels extracted from the house would be reused, because they gave viewers a look closely on their recovery efforts so far on the historic house of the 1930s.

The building will be withdrawn to make room for a structure of nine-owners on the site, as Lulu alleged it.

“We appreciate that the owner understands the importance of preserving the historic fabric of the house and works with us and Green Circle Auctions to save what we can,” wrote the page in the legend.

Historical articles withdrawn from the property include a Greek front portico, the head of stone wells and a carved limestone coat, the Cerused oak library, French doors, steel gear bays, beating windows, ancient blue and many others.

A few months after Richard had discreetly sold the house for a few dollars less than $ 11 million, he packed his bags alongside his family and went to Madrid. The actor, his wife, alongside their children, decided to make the Spanish region their house indefinitely.

Richard explained during an interview that the move was in a way an ode to his wife, Alejandra, who is a publicist of Spanish origin. He noted that she would live closer to “her family, her lifelong friends and her culture”.

He noted that the publicist was generous enough to exist for six years in his side of the world, and he was only honorable for him to give him the same by passing the equality of six years in his own world.

The media figure added that their relocation to Spain was temporary because they will return to the United States as a family in the near future. Before selling the house, the actor had initially planned that he will operate as a farm in activity, but the plan has never come to life.

The Hollywood icon and his wife made the knot in his field in Pound Ridge, New York, in 2018, after which they welcomed their first son, Alexander Gerr in 2019. About a year later, the couple extended their family with a second son, James Gere.

The explosion noted that outside of his two children with Alejandra, he is a stepfather of the son of Alejandra, Albert, of a previous marriage. He generated an adult child from her second marriage to actress Carey Lowell.

Unlike his father, Richard’s first child, Homer Gere, is barely under the spotlight, but he shares a close link with his father, a phenomenon he often speaks.

There is a current 33 -year gap between the couple, with Richard currently 75 and Alejandra, 42. Richard and Alejandra had known each other for more than a decade before reconnecting and finally getting married.
