Many things have changed in the world of Star Wars In recent years, but one thing has been coherent exasperating: person involved in the future of Star Wars said Rian Johnson.

“I sort of descended into the mystery rabbit hole of the murder – I focused on making other things,” Johnson told The Independent when he was questioned about his distance from Star Wars. “But that didn’t exclude that it happens all over the line. If I come back to the Star Wars Universe one day, I would be the happiest person.

Unfortunately, now almost 10 years after the original announcement, a Johnson trilogy probably does not correspond to the current plans. There are two, for sure, Star Wars Films to come in the next two years –The Mandalorian and the Grogu a year from today, May 22, 2026, then Star Wars: Starfighter A year later on May 28, 2027. Beyond that, Simon Kinberg will work on the next official Star Wars Trilogy alongside films by James Mangold, Dave Filoni and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. So even if Johnson finishes Knives And Impassive face, We sincerely doubt that he will be back in a galaxy far, far from soon. But we hope it will happen one day.
