Report: Marlins 3B Connor Norby (wrist) 6 to 8 weeks after surgery

The third goal of the Marlins, Connor Norby, will be sidelined for six to eight weeks after wrist surgery, Miami Herald reported on Thursday.

Norby, who landed on the 10 -day injured list on Sunday with inflammation of the left wrist, had a procedure in Arizona on Wednesday to repair a broken left hammate bone, according to the report.

Norby, 25, strikes .241 with six circuits, 26 products produced and seven bases stolen in 72 games in his first full season with the Marlins.

Relief in the second round by Baltimore in 2021, Miami was treated in Miami during the commercial deadline of July 2024 with the Kyle Stowers voltiseur in exchange for Gaucher Trevor Rogers.

Norby is a career striker .239 with 15 circuits and 46 points produced in 117 games with the Orioles (2024) and the Marlins.
