Report: Liverpool have no chance of signing striker from Premier League rivals

According to TEAMtalk, Everton have no desire to sell winger Iliman Ndiaye during the January transfer window.

The Everton striker has been one of the best players in David Moyes’ side this season and naturally his performances have impressed some of the top clubs.

Recent media speculation has linked Everton’s biggest Premier League rivals Liverpool with a move for Ndiaye.

However, according to TEAMtalk’s report, Everton’s position is to keep the player at the club for a long period of time and they are currently in a good position to do so as Ndiaye has a contract that runs until 2029.

Iliman Ndiaye is in great shape this season

Ndiaye has been a positive for the Toffees this season and his performances, as well as his understanding and partnership with Jack Grealish, have caught the attention of supporters and pundits alike.

With Everton not interested in selling Ndiaye in the winter transfer window, Liverpool are expected to focus on other attacking targets.

There is, however, a glimmer of hope for Arne Slot’s team. The report mentions that Everton could be open to selling the striker in the summer transfer window if they receive a substantial offer.

Even for a massive bid, selling to local rivals Liverpool would be unthinkable for Moyes and his team.

Tottenham, Newcastle United, Juventus, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are all keeping a close eye on Ndiaye this season.

With four goals and an assist in the Premier League this season, Ndiaye has shown his creativity and goalscoring quality. His ability to press from the front, take on players and create opportunities for his teammates is something many Premier League teams would love to have.

Everton’s stance remains firm: Ndiaye is not for sale and interested parties may have to wait until the summer.
