Activision revealed the Warzone Season 1 roadmap, revealing a wave of new content. According to the developer, this is the the biggest seasonal content plan in the history of Call of Duty, with new LTM, events, rewards, weapons, and more. Along with this, the update will also add new POIs to the beloved Verdansk map. That said, with Black Ops 6 Warzone Season 6 wrapping up, Season 1 is now gearing up to go live very soon.

Warzone Season 1: Everything we know so far
When is Warzone Season 1 coming out?
Black Ops 7 Warzone Season 1 is expected to launch on December 4, 2025bringing a lot of new content to the game. This date also marks the end of the WZ Season 6 Battle Pass in Black Ops 6, officially kicking off Season 1 of Black Ops 7.
While the exact timeline hasn’t been confirmed, based on previous updates, players can expect it to roll out. 9:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) / 12 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. BST. Since this will be a major update, players are advised to have a stable internet connection for uninterrupted downloading.
What is the new map coming to Warzone Season 1?
The title brings a new Resurgence card appointed Haven’s Hollow. It is based on an isolated model Appalachian Town ideal for quick resurgence gameplay. Although it is medium in size, the map offers eight main POIs for players to explore. Here are all the POIs:
- Manor
- Pond
- Station
- Barn
- Research center
- Main street
- River boat
- Coal deposit
- Sawmill
While locations like the mansion may seem familiar thanks to Black Ops 6’s Shattered Veil Zombies map, there are still plenty of new areas to explore and loot. The map is ideal for players looking for some sniper action in this game, offering several high crests that are perfect for such gameplay.

Gameplay Changes
The update adds Tac Sprint as part of the Sprinter advantage. Players can also access the most anticipated content Wall jump and the Grapple Tactics in LTM. Apart from this, season 1 also brings updates Tactics, MortalsAnd Field upgrades, including the Needle Drone, Grenade located, Phantom signaland the Echo Unit Field Upgrade.
Some of these will only be available as floor loot. There are also new interactions with equipment, such as Smoke grenades now extinguish Molotov shots. Apart from these, three perk slots were also restructured And updatedwith the addition of a new adaptive advantage.
New Verdansk SO
Alongside the new map, the update also adds two new POIs, Signal post And Remastered Factoryto beloved Verdansk. Here is a brief overview of the two areas:
Signal post
This is a new guild complex that will be added to the north of Verdansk, easily recognizable by its three white spheres overlooking the frozen lake and the forest. The main building has several levels and a large central area.
Players can use the facility to get more information about the map. You’ll find a smaller warehouse near the helipad that provides good cover for ground ambushes. The garage opposite offers a similar advantage over the main road.
Factory
Veteran COD players will instantly recognize this sprawling industrial site from Verdansk ’84, east of Superstore. The building is primarily used for developing Guild Rockets, making it a suitable area for close-range combat. The area is full of loot, so it will likely become a favorite location for many players.

New modes, playlists and more
Players can expect access to the following playlist as the season progresses:
- Battle Royale, Casual Battle Royale
- Resurgence, Resurgence Casual
The update also brings back Polaris vehicles. Players can ride on the UTV Polaris RZR Pro R 4 and the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 ATV to quickly move around the map. That being said, the CODMAS Holiday Season also returns to Warzone, introducing LTMs, Events, and Bundles.
