Rebel Wilson, the 45 -year -old Australian star, recently shared a painful experience she had on the set of her new film, Harshly married.
During a dramatic combat scene on his last day of shooting, Wilson underwent a serious injury when a propeller gun accidentally struck her on his face, opening his nose.
“It was just a weird accident, and my nose opened, so I went in set,” said Wilson in a recent conversation.
“It was strangely my last night of filming. I said to myself:” How bad can I be unlucky? “I panicked.”
The injury was so serious that Wilson was transported urgently to hospital in an ambulance, where a plastic surgeon was called to treat it.
“They take an ambulance, and they must call a plastic surgeon, because if they did not do it, I would have been definitively disfigured,” Wilson revealed.
Fortunately, the surgeon was able to sew it, and “you can’t say now” that something has ever happened.
Despite the accident, Wilson did not let him prevent him from making his own stunts in the film. In fact, she played all the fights of the film, including a scene where she fights the mercenaries who attack a marriage.
“I kick butt … It was hardcore,” she said, adding that her past experience with karate helped her in the film.
Harshly married is an action comedy film that presents Wilson as a secret agent named Sam, alongside Fellow Perfect pitch Actress Anna Camp.
The film should be released on June 20, 2025 and promises to deliver a mixture of comedy and action
