RCB and snubbed T20 World Cup star pick his all-time IPL XI

Jitesh chose MS Dhoni as captain for his all-time IPL and named three RCB players – 2 former and 1 present

Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma has snubbed his teammate Virat Kohli from his all-time IPL playing XI. The star, who had a successful time with RCB in IPL 2025 following which he became a regular in T20Is, was recently left out from India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2026. Jitesh has picked the legendary MS Dhoni as captain for his all-time IPL, and has named three players from RCB – two former and one present.

Jitesh Sharma’s all-time IPL playing XI

In an interview with CricTracker, Jitesh picked Rohit and Gilchrist to be the openers in his all-time playing XI. Sharma has been a part of Mumbai Indians since moving on from Deccan Chargers in 2011 while the former Australian wicket-keeper was his ex-teammate in DC. At number 3, Sharma has picked India’s T20I captain SKY, who has been prolific in the IPL but his form hasn’t been up to the mark in T20Is over the past year.

Jitesh has named Kallis, one of the best all-rounders, has his number 4 followed by former RCB star de Villers. Hardik and Axar are the two all-rounders who is a part of his playing XI while MSD – one of the most successful skippers in IPL history – as his captain for the side. The bowlers include MI’s Bumrah, KKR’s Chakravarthy and RCB’s Hazlewood – all three bowlers who played a crucial role in the success of their respective teams over the past few seasons.

Talking about Jitesh’s stint in IPL, he managed to amass 261 runs from 15 innings, acing his role as a finisher for the franchise. After being snubbed from the T20 World Cup squad, Jitesh will be hoping to make a strong comeback in IPL 2026.
