A source was cited according to Mykhel: “VVS Laxman, at the head of the NCA, now explores the opportunities in the IPL in the context of a possible coach reshuffle.”
An official announcement for the roles of Rahul Dravid and Laxman should soon be made, once the BCCI and the franchise finalize the transactions.
If confirmed, the mixture will not only mark a change of roles, but a calculated redistribution of cricket power to balance the development of the base of India and meet the growing demand for IPL for the best coaching minds. However, there is no clue that Laxman returns to SRH before IPL 2026.
