The creators of Rahu Ketu have revealed the highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming comedy, offering a glimpse into a tale where mythology meets contemporary chaos. Backed by Zee Studios and Blive Productions, the film positions itself as a lighthearted entertainer rooted in ancient belief systems while addressing modern human behavior through humor. Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma lead the film, with the film promising to explore their camaraderie and comic exchanges.

The trailer opens with veteran actor Piyush Mishra lending his distinctive voice to present the mythological background of Rahu and Ketu. Its narration establishes the film’s connection to folklore, laying the foundation for a story that draws on traditional mythology while taking place in a current context.
Pulkit plays a character driven by ambition and shortcuts, while Varun’s role relies on situational comedy and physical humor. Their dynamic forms the core of the film’s narrative, which revolves around the chaos unleashed by human flaws and impulsive decisions.
Talking about the film, Pulkit Samrat said, “Fantasy worlds have always fascinated me, so what really excited me? Rahu Ketu entered this colorful and chaotic universe anchored in comedy. Watching mythological ideas come to life in a fun and accessible way – especially for children – and being part of that journey has been an absolute joy. Varun Sharma added: “The humor in Rahu Ketu is deeply situational and rooted in human flaws. We don’t just make people laugh, we hold up a mirror to them, but with chaos, madness and a lot of fun. »
Shalini Pandey is presented in a confident and assertive role, with the trailer suggesting that her character plays an important role in shaping the emotional and moral arc of the story. Commenting on her experience, she said: “Rahu Ketu was one of the most fun trips of my career. Vipul Vig has such a strong vision, but he gives his actors the freedom to bring out their own instincts, which made the process incredibly rewarding. Working with my co-actors has been an absolute joy, and Zee Studios and Blive Productions have supported the film with so much confidence and passion that it truly reflects on screen. I am delighted that the public will be able to discover the film.
The supporting cast includes Chunky Pandey and Amit Sial, who seem to add extra layers to the narrative. While Chunky Pandey turns to comedy, the presence of Amit Sial brings a more down-to-earth tone to the unfolding events.
A key element of the trailer is the arrival of mythological characters Rahu and Ketu, whose involvement pushes the story into a space that mixes humor with a broader philosophical idea around causes and consequences. Directed by Vipul Vig, Rahu Ketu is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on January 16, 2026.
