Kate Hudson Admits to Emotional Habit That ‘Never Stops’

Kate Husdon admitted she cries easily.
In a recent conversation with People, the 46-year-old actress who stars alongside Hugh Jackman in Craig Brewer’s musical biopic Song sung in blueshared that the film often made her cry.
“I cry every day because every time Hugh and I start talking about the movie, we get so emotional,” she told the outlet.
For those unfamiliar, the film tells the real-life story of Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.
Hudson then admitted: “I cry very easily. I cry easily. …I could look at an Instagram and start [crying]. Especially [posts] kids who say something profound will make me cry.
“I think I probably cry at least once every two days,” she adds. “Crying is always a good thing. It really is,” she added.

“We’re pretty emotional,” Hudson added.
Earlier in December, Hudson was excited to work with Jackman while sharing a glimpse of her bond with her co-star at the 2025 Gotham Awards.
“His superpower is connecting, whether it’s on stage, whether it’s on set, whether it’s with anyone and everyone. He just wants to connect, and he wants to make sure everyone is happy,” Hudson told The Pulsiher.
“And at the same time, I learned that one of the greatest gifts you can give people is to actually have a desire to connect with them, and I think you give that to everyone,” she noted at the time.
