Declan Rice struck his former club and Bukayo Saka broke in a penalty while Arsenal won a fourth consecutive match in all competitions after West Ham at the Emirates Stadium.
Saka excluded a goal for offside before the ruthless opening of Rice seven minutes from half-time against the club with whom he won the 2022/23 conference league, joining the Gunners in July for 100 million pounds sterling.
After an assistant video referee governed El Hadji Malick Diouf had shot Jurrien Timber inside the box, Saka celebrated his 200e appearance as a champion
The result moves Arsenal a point away from Liverpool at the top of the Premier League, although the Reds play their match in Chelsea at 5.30 p.m. BST.

Arsenal vs West Ham: Rice, Saka Secure Points

Arsenal Linep vs West Ham
The central defender of Arsenal, Gabriel, was released in the 75th minute of home victory 2-0 against Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday, but was able to start.
