During Celestial Research Day in Pokemon GO, Trainers will be able to participate in Field Research tasks and a series of paid, timed Research quests. Lunatone and Solrock will be available from the former as potential rewards, while the latter will also have Stardust and XP with these two pocket monsters.
Celestial Research Day takes place in Pokemon GO from 2:00 p.m. local time to 5:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, December 20, 2025. It features Lunatone and Solrock. Lucky trainers can also encounter their shiny variants. Pokemon GO trainers can also participate in the ongoing Winter Holiday Part 1 event.
