Leeds made 10 signatures during the summer transfer window, while efforts were made to guarantee that the Daniel Farke team can survive the Premier League. But a player who did not end up at Elland Road is Josh Brownhill.
Brownhill, who left Burnley in July when his contract expired, was an outside competition in the championship last season, which led to many clubs linked to the signing. Leeds was one of them, although an agreement failed to materialize.

According to Leeds everywhere, Brownhill was also interested in the move, but he is now ready to join Al-Shabab, according to Arriyadiyah. The Saudi team of the Saudi League agreed with the midfielder, the agreement now needing “the approval of the financial committee for sustainability affiliated to the Saudi Professional League” before its finalization.
Brownhill, 29, is at an age when he would be ready for his last major salary, and that is what he would get if the move to Al-Shabab was. He will write a two -year contract, and it is likely that his salary in Saudi Arabia would be more than any English club that had offered him.
It may be a shame for Leeds that Brownhill was not added to the Farke team during the summer, although there is already quality in the midfield – especially with the arrivals of Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff by Tsg Hoffenheim and Newcastle respectively.
Time will tell us if Leeds should have made a more concrete effort to sign Brownhill, since he was also interested in the move to Elland Road. But for the moment, club officials will be satisfied with the company that was carried out during the summer transfer window.
