Pirates promote RHP Cam Sanders, Rhp Johan Oviedo Demote

Pittsburgh pirates announced on Tuesday that the 28 -year -old right -handers, Cam Sanders, had been promoted for the first time on a list of major leagues.
Sanders, who shaped a 1.91 MPM in 33 games this season for Double-A Altoona and Triple-A Indianapolis, takes the place which is canceled by the veteran Johan Oviedo.
The right-hander Oviedo, 27, was optionized in Triple-A after launching the first round of the Pirates’ victory against San Francisco on Monday evening. Oviedo granted three balls, two strokes and two points to go with three stick withdrawals.
Oviedo had not launched the Bigs since September 27, 2023. He missed the 2024 season by recovering from Tommy John surgery.
Sanders, who began his professional career as a starter in the organization of Chicago Cubs, began this season with Altoona and posted a 2-0 file with nine stops and an MPM of 1.90 out of 18 emergency appearances. Promoted to Indianapolis, Sanders scored a 2-1 file with two stops and an MPM of 1.93 in 15 games from the LEVEUR ENCLOS.
Between the two judgments, Sanders stacked 51 stick withdrawals and 20 walks on 42 1/3 rounds.
