Kourtney Kardashian paid tribute to my sister Kim Kardashian on the occasion of its 45th anniversary.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, October 21, to share a carousel of throwback photos that captured Kim over the years, Kourtney, 46, captioned the post: “Best friends forever.”
The older sister kicked off her carousel with a stunning black and white snap of the couple posing back to back in matching bobs before launching into a hilarious photo of the duo sporting cosmetics to make them look old and wrinkled.
Other throwbacks include the sisters’ mom Kris Jenner carrying baby Kourtney and Kim on each hip, the duo dressed in skintight monochrome ensembles, the sisters pouting in bikinis while enjoying a swim, glamorous evening dancing on a beach and partying together at a club.
Kourtney shared a photo of her carousel via her Instagram Stories, adding the caption “I love you forever and always,” before posting another Instagram Story featuring a photo of the couple as toddlers. “When I was taller than you,” Kourtney captioned the adorable snap.
Her latest tribute to Kim was a short video filmed as the sisters posed in their senior makeup.
I’m never left out of an online celebration of the Kardashian clan, Khloe Kardashian shared her own collection of throwback photos via an Instagram carousel on Tuesday. “Happy birthday to my sister, my best friend, my forever twin flame in chaos and greatness, @kimkardashian where you go, I go,” began a lengthy caption from Khloe, 41. “Every year I am in awe of how you continue to evolve. One way or another, you continue to grow in strength, grace, wisdom, and heart. You have always been powerful, but lately you feel like you have tapped into an even deeper layer of yourself, calmer but more unstoppable, grounded while still dreaming bigger than ever.”
The youngest sister of the trio continued, “Thank you for being my safe place, my biggest inspiration, my constant laugh, my gossip aficionado and my ride or die. You already know, I have you in every life. No matter where life takes us, I will always be there to encourage you, protect you and love you through it all.”
Khloe’s Carousel featured throwbacks of Kim polishing her nails and smiling sweetly for the camera, as well as Khloe and Kim posing together in ’90s metallic makeup. She also included several solo shots of Kim looking glamorous more recently, styled to perfection for events and dripping in bling for a selfie on a Venice canal as the couple there attended. One particularly amusing image showed Kim flipping her middle finger while wrapped in a SKIMS face mask on board a plane. (Kim is the founder of SKIMS, which launched the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap to support the face and jawline in July.)
Kim marked her birthday online by sharing a series of additional tributes on Instagram Story from A-list friends, including a makeup artist. Mario DedivanovicKris’ boyfriend Corey Gamblesinger Ciara and reality TV star Olivia Pierson. She also shared a TikTok video posted by her daughter, North West, via the mother-daughter duo’s shared account on Tuesday evening.
