PEC rents the armed forces, highlights the role of engineers in national defense

Karachi: Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) welcomed the country’s armed forces on Sunday for their role in what it described as a successful defense effort after recent assault, and stressed the contributions of engineers in the under-tension of the country’s defense infrastructure.
In a press release, the president of the PEC, Engr Waseem Nazir, said that the performance of the army reflected years of coordinated planning and a basis of technical force and engineering. “This victory was not obtained overnight. It is the product of coordinated efforts – where military professionalism, political resolution and net engineering excellence,” said Nazir.
He noted that engineering capacities have played an essential role in fields, including civil and military infrastructure, communications, weapons systems and logistics. Nazir added that the Council aligns its national programs – including the Balutchistan 2025 action plan, the digital reforms Smart PEC, and the brain of the brain gain diaspora – in order to equip future engineers to contribute both during peace and in the moments of the diaspora.
The PEC has also stressed the importance of international strategic collaborations, which, according to it, are essential for the adaptation and deployment of advanced technologies in national defense. The Council has reaffirmed its commitment to maintain the excellence of engineering as a key pillar of national sovereignty.
