Paul Pogba assured his fans that he was still “hungry” to play professional football again, again to find a new club since his Juventus contract was put in mutually almost six months ago.
Pogba saw a doping ban reduced from four years to 18 months on appeal last October, but that did not prevent its Juventus meeting prematurely a few weeks later.
The Frenchman was linked to the old Manchester United club, as well as Marseille, which would have represented the first time to play professionally in his country of origin. But, after spending a lot of time in Miami in recent months, a move in Major League Soccer has been strongly suggested. The Saudi Pro League is also an obvious choice for Pogba, now 32.
“I mean, it’s just a little message that I think Instagram.
“Just a little message for you all the guys right now, you don’t get what you want, but just trying to try, continue to push until you get it. It could be tomorrow, it could be in a year, two years, but the man what will happen, will happen, let’s go.
Due to a combination of injuries, suspension and its subsequent absence of sport, Pogba has only made 12 appearances in almost three complete seasons since I left Old Trafford in 2022.
His last appearance of Manchester United, before the end of his contract there, came more than a month before the end of the season due to a calf problem. A second beginning of Juventus, having made its name in Turin between 2012 and 2016, was then delayed by six months by a knee injury.
Pogba was then abandoned by the boss of Juve Massimiliano Allegri for a disciplinary problem, after which his first departure since his return to the club – in May 2023 – ended after only 23 minutes of injury.
The last appearance of Pogba of all kinds was a substitute in the victory of Serie A of Juve on Empoli in September 2023, when he did not add to his 91 caps in France since March 2022.
