Tyson Fury sends direct warning to Anthony Joshua ahead of Jake Paul fight

Tyson Fury has sent a new threat to Anthony Joshua as tensions continue between the two heavyweight stars.

Joshua returns to action on Friday for the first time since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September 2024 when he faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Miami, Florida.

During the fight week leading up to the event, Joshua was asked about his concerns regarding the mismatch and responded by stating “if I can kill you, I will kill you.”

Fury, AJ’s longtime rival, has now shared a fiery response to those comments, posting on his Instagram that he would knock AJ out the next time he sees him.

“I just got a video of Anthony Joshua saying that if he kills someone, he kills someone in the boxing ring. He has a bit of length to say shit like that.

“He’s 37, late in his career, fighting a YouTuber, a Disney Channel guy that Tommy beat, and now he’s talking about killing him and all that to try to sell.

“Please, you’re barking up the wrong tree, you idiot. Here’s a fun fact, if I ever cross you, I’ll knock you out. I’m not a YouTuber or a man half your size. I’m him, the man.

“You’re a classless loser, after a 15 month knockout defeat to a local boy. Imagine if someone from Morecambe knocked me out. You big, useless bum. I can’t wait for Jake Paul to knock you out, you big, useless bum.”

Joshua and Fury have been linked to a fight for several years, and it is now expected to happen in 2026.

Fury’s recent comments show that there is still no love lost between the two men, firstly Joshua but looking after Paul this week.
