Pafla, innosta forge partnership to empower more than 50,000 freelancers

Karachi: Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), the national freelancers of the national level of the self -employed, and innosta, the national SIFC initiative for the creation of collaborative work opportunities and innovative platforms, announced a strategic partnership to create transformative opportunities, in particular capacity building and commercial collaboration, for more than 50,000 freelancers each year through Pakistan. This historical collaboration should reshape the independent ecosystem thanks to capacity building, digital infrastructure and political advocacy, opening the way for pigists to play an even more critical role in the national economy.

President Pafla Ibrahim Amin and the CEO of innovist Hisham Sarwar signed the MOA in Islamabad to launch collaborative events and impactful initiatives aimed at empowering young people through Pakistan through independent and digital skills.

“Merys are no longer just a lateral labor segment. They are at the front and center of the digital economy in Pakistan, with more than $ 500 million to bring foreign exchange to Pakistan,” said Amin. Pakistan has become one of the first five countries contributing to the international workforce of concerts, with a force of around 2.37 million and increasing across the country, he added. PAFLA recorded more than 0.1 million freelancers as a community of members with its significant representation across the country. The association organized 35 seminars and 25 training sessions, including one with Google Inc.

The CEO Innovista Hashham Sarwar said that the Pafla-Innovista partnership focuses on training, access to technology, financial literacy and global connectivity to customers to unlock the full potential of Pakistani freelancers, aimed at improving employability and Pakistan’s position on a global scene.

Thanks to this partnership, Innovista will deploy its digital tools, its learning modules and its community engagement resources to create an inclusive environment for Pakistani independents, in particular women and young people in badly served regions, he added.

The main initiatives within the framework of the PAFLA-INNOVISTA partnership include the launch of the Bootcamps de training independents nationally, access to co-working and the co-learning of space at Innovista, creating awareness campaigns on independent rights, taxation and global platforms, and the integration of independent at Innovista, etc.
