Padres ends the scanning of the D-Backs to maintain the momentum before the joker series

Manny Machado dominated and Jackson Merrill struck in three points while the Padres de San Diego passed for the qualifying series of the National League with a rout of 12-4 of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.
