Baltimore Orioles got closer to Felix Bautista on the 15 -day injured list Thursday due to the right discomfort.
This decision is retroactive on Monday for the right-hander of 30 years, which is 1-1 with an MPM of 2.60 and 19 stops in 35 games this season.
Bautista, who was the subject of commercial rumors with the deadline of July 31, will have an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of the injury.
The right tighthony Dominguez should obtain most of the chances of saving the absence of Bautista.
Bautista made the American League Stars team in 2023, finishing with an MPM of 1.48 and 33 stops in 56 games. He missed all the 2024 season after Tommy John surgery.
The Orioles recalled the right-hander Kade Strowd of Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding transaction. Strowd, 27, made his MLB debut on May 18 and has no decisions and an ERA of 4.15 in three appearances for Baltimore.
