Alpine announced that the director of the Oliver Oakes team has resigned with immediate effect.
This comes in the middle of speculation, Alpine plans to drop the pilot Jack Doohan before the next F1 race in Imola.
Alpine said: “The Formula One Alpine Bwt team announces that Oliver Oakes has resigned from its role as director of the team.
“The team accepted their resignation with immediate effect.
“To date, Flavio Briatore will continue as an executive advisor and will also cover the tasks previously carried out by Oliver Oakes.
“The team would like to thank Oliver for his efforts since he joined last summer and for his contribution to helping the team to obtain sixth place in the 2024 manufacturers’ championship.
“The team will not make any other comments.”
