Nottingham Forest could soon seek a new manager, with strong rumors that Nuno Espirito Santo could be dismissed. The Portuguese would have faced the owner Evangelos Marinakis on the club’s transfer activities this summer, which could lead him to lose his job.
It would be a massive shock if Nuno had to leave, given the work he did last season. Whoever was to replace him would have a lot to do, and a first candidate now seemed to emerge.
Brendan Rodgers could take over at Nottingham Forest
According to football initiate, Mick Brown revealed that Forest could bring Brendan Rodgers to replace Nuno, the former manager of Liverpool and Leicester increasingly unhappy with Celtic.
“It is always a possibility that Rodgers can move away. It was said that it could be envisaged for the work of the Nottingham forest if it arises, and if he offered this role, I think he would take it.
“It seems that he has always had an eye on a potential return in the Premier League. I do not think he is satisfied with the support that the board of directors has given him to the transfer market. He wants to improve his team, keep this distance between them and the Rangers, and be competitive in European competitions.
“If they do not support him and do not try to improve, what is the point of staying there? This is how he will see it, then he kept his powder dry and if such an opportunity arises so that he géra in the Premier League, he will take it.”
