Notre Dame ruled out wide receiver Jaden Greathouse for the second straight game with a hamstring injury on Thursday.
Greathouse missed last week’s game against Boise State and will be absent when the Fighting Irish host North Carolina State on Saturday.
Greathouse, who began the season as a starter, had just four receptions for 73 yards and no touchdowns in Notre Dame’s (3-2) first four games. He ranks sixth on the team in receiving yards.
The No. 16 Fighting Irish will have to rely on Jordan Faison, Malachi Fields and Will Pauling at the position without Greathouse.
Greathouse caught 64 passes for 930 yards and nine touchdowns in three seasons at Notre Dame.
