The former captain of England Michael Vaughan criticized the approach of Zak Crawley during the second rounds of the Lord’s test. Vaughan stressed that the opener was missing after surviving a jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj test spell.
“The problem is that Zak Crawley endearing to play a shot of each ball. He saw Bumrah and Siraj, and he decided that he was going to play each Ball of Nitish Kumar Reddy. After showing the courage when seeing Bumrah and Siraj, you expect more in Crawley,” said Vaughan, as quoted by BBC Match Special.
“The problem is that you can see him coming with Zak Crawley. You are afraid of him as an opposition but you can see him coming.”
