Nintendo Switch 2 Black Friday deals: bundles, controllers, headphones

The second generation of Nintendo’s beloved hybrid console arrived earlier this year. The Switch 2 has incredible screen quality, backwards compatibility with older Switch games and peripherals, and refined Joy-Con 2 grips (the real necessity for an updated Switch). It will definitely be on many people’s Christmas lists, including mine. Unfortunately, the device itself isn’t on sale, but you can purchase bundles and accessories instead. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or your favorite player, here are the best deals to grab.
Don’t miss out on all of our deals during this sales bonanza, including our absolute best Black Friday deals, best Black Friday TV deals, best Black Friday Kindle deals, and best Black Friday deals under $100.
How to get a Switch 2 for a little less
The Switch 2 console itself is at its usual price ($449) at most retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy, but the way to get a small discount is to purchase bundles. The bundle with Mario Kart World will save you $20, since the game usually costs $70 but the bundle costs $500.
Best Switch 2 accessory deals
If you’re shopping for someone who already owns a Switch 2 (or, you know, yourself with your Switch 2) or know it’s something they’re getting for Christmas and want to pick up an accessory, here are our favorite accessories on sale.
This detachable handle case provides lightweight protection against bumps and scratches and includes Joy-Con grips. Technically it fits into the official dock, but it’s tight.
I love my Switch Pro controller, and while there is an improved one you can use with the Switch 2, the original is still great and on sale right now.
If you’re looking for gaming headphones to use with a Switch 2, these headphones from SteelSeries are our favorite to use with it. The slim adapter plugs directly into the console’s USB-C port for 2.4GHz low-latency audio, and there’s an app that lets you choose a sound profile for Switch games.
Games are only getting bigger and you might need more storage than you expected. You can’t use an old MicroSD card with the new Switch 2 and must get a MicroSD Express card instead. Read our full explanation on this here.
