Nigeria secures release of 100 schoolboys kidnapped after captivity

Nigeria’s government secured the release of 100 schoolboys kidnapped last month, according to local media.

The children were removed from St. Mary School, Niger State, in late November. The release was announced on Sunday by local television station Channels Television.

This news comes as Christians continue to be persecuted in Nigeria, leading President Donald Trump to declare the West African nation a “country of particular concern”.
