Nigeria in advanced talks with Google for new undersea cable: report (GOOG:NASDAQ)

Nigeria is in advanced talks with Alphabet’s Google (GOOG) (GOOGLE) for a new submarine cable to strengthen the West African country’s digital resilience, a senior government official said Bloomberg News.

The country wants to increase existing submarine connections with Europe, Kashifu Inuwa said.
