Nicole Kidman says her life experience helped her find strength
In a frank conversation with Harper’s Bazaar published on October 9, Kidman revealed that her greatest gift as she got older was learning to face challenges with calm and courage.
“The best thing is the experiences you have accumulated,” said the 58-year-old. “You say, ‘Oh, I’ve been here before. Actually, I know how to handle this now.’ Or, “Maybe I haven’t been to this place, but I’ve been through something similar to this and I know I’ll get through it.” »
The “Practical Magic” star added that no matter how dark things get, she has learned to believe that there is always a way to move forward.
“There’s something about knowing that no matter how painful or difficult or devastating something is, there’s a way to get through it,” she said, a quiet nod to her ongoing divorce from Urban.

Kidman admits pain can’t be avoided, but it passes

Although Kidman is known for her grace under pressure, she hasn’t been shy about admitting how much pain accompanies life’s toughest times.
“You’re going to have to feel it,” she shared. “You won’t be able to numb it. You’ll have to feel it, and it will feel insurmountable at times. You’ll feel like you’re broken, but if you move nice and slow – and that can take a very long time – it passes.”
Kidman proved this when she decided to file for divorce on September 30 after reportedly trying to save her marriage.
Sources revealed the couple have been living apart since early summer, but they remain committed to raising their children together.

Motherhood gives Nicole Kidman her purpose to keep going

Through it all, Kidman says her biggest motivation to stay strong comes from being a mother.
She shares her two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, with Urban and two older children, Bella and Connor, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
“My children [give me the] with the aim of being their protector and guide,” she said Harper’s Bazaar. “Promising them that I’m here and that no matter what, there’s always a safe place to grow.”
In her divorce filing, Kidman was listed as the “primary residential parent,” meaning her daughters would spend 306 days a year with her, while they would stay with Urban for 59 days.
Despite the painful separation, the two men would have agreed on the conditions of co-parenting without conflict.

Keith Urban’s sudden change shocks Kidman’s friends

Kidman’s recent interview comes amid reports that people close to the Hollywood icon are stunned by how quickly her ex-husband has changed since their quiet split.
Kidman looked calm and professional at her recent conference in Nashville, but sources say her home life was falling apart.
As The Blast reported, friends revealed that Urban, once known as the quiet one, now seems focused on hurting the filmmaker in public.
“Keith seems like he’s trying to embarrass and hurt Nic publicly. He’s always been the quiet one, but now that seems to have changed,” a close source revealed.
His latest decision, changing the lyrics of a song he wrote for her and singing it to his young guitarist, Maggie Baugh, shocked everyone who knows them.

Nicole Kidman struggles to cope with grief

Meanwhile, friends say the “Eyes Wide Shut” star is heartbroken and confused, trying to understand how things went so wrong. She stays at their Nashville mansion with their daughters, while Urban is on tour with Baugh, sparking romance rumors.
Those close to her say Kidman feels blindsided, much like when Cruise left her years ago.
“It’s like she’s reliving that pain,” a friend said sadly.
Although she puts on a brave face in public, her friends admit it was the most difficult time of her life, leaving her hurt and unsure of what to do next.
