Chelsea has had a very busy deadline day so far, and they have now concluded an agreement for another player to leave the club.

One of the most interesting transfer sagas of the past few weeks has focused on Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea had concluded a loan agreement with the purchase option so that the 24-year-old joined Bayern Munich, but this arrangement was canceled on Saturday after Liam Delap was injured in the hamstrings who should keep him away for two months.

Jackson then returned to Chelsea, but in the last 24 hours, new talks have been underway with Bayern about the resurrected agreement – which was made possible by Marc Guiu returning from his loan to Chelsea to provide attacker’s coverage in Enzo Maresca. And a new agreement has now been sorted.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Bayern have concluded a new agreement for Jackson, which includes an obligation for the Bundesliga giants to sign the International of Senegal if certain conditions are met. In addition to this, higher loan fees were agreed – from 15 million euros to 16.5 million euros.

The situation with Jackson in the last 72 hours was something, but it ends the way it was happy – although Chelsea is happier, because the new terms are more favorable to them. Bayern will always be happy because they now have solid competition for Harry Kane in the attacker’s position.

It remains to be seen if Chelsea opted to sign another striker, in addition to recalling Guiu, to compete with Joao Pedro. Many could depend on the conviction that Delap could return from his injury to the hamstrings earlier than expected, but for the moment, nothing indicates that this will be the case.
