Nicholas Galitzine Reveals the ‘Hardest’ Thing He Did for a Film Role

Nicholas Galitzine had a tough time preparing to play He-Man in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Masters of the Universe.
Especially since the “larger-than-life character” was played by a handsome and enormous Dolph Lundgren in the 1987 film of the same name, Galitzine had huge shoes to fill.
He must have started gaining weight months before filming the film and would not like to stick to such a lifestyle long term.
“It’s not something I would want to do or maintain year-round,” he said.
“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done; it was a daily challenge,” he said. People of the grueling process.
He continued: “But there’s something incredibly empowering about committing so much to something. I’ve never had a challenge like this before, where every day you have to wake up and vaguely see the top of the mountain, but especially when you’re bulking up. I think it wouldn’t be sincere of me to say it was easy.”
