Newcastle retaliated to Alexander Isak with a statement after Striker published an assertion of “broken promises”

Alexander Isak publicly questioned his future in Newcastle on Tuesday evening, saying that the promises had been broken and suggested that the “relationship cannot continue”.
The 25 -year -old striker made these remarks in a publication on social networks published during the football prizes of the PFA year, adding that “change is in the best interest of everyone, not just me”.
Liverpool is considered his favorite destination if he leaves St James park.
Newcastle quickly moved to tackle the situation with a separate declaration, clearly indicating that no insurance had never been given to the Swedish international for a potential exit.
Newcastle declaration in full reading:
“We are disappointed to have been alerted to a message on social networks by Alexander Isak tonight.
“We are clear in response that Alex remains under contract and that no commitment has never been made by a club official that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer.
“We want to keep our best players, but we also understand that players have their own wishes and we listen to their opinions. As explained to Alex and its representatives, we must always take into account the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we were clear that the conditions for a sale this summer did not take place.
“We do not plan these conditions fulfilled.
“This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we strive to keep our feeling of family. Alex is part of our family and will be welcomed when he is ready to join his teammates. ”
Although the club’s wording is firm, he notably stopped completely excluding a departure, rather stressing that the transfer conditions – supposed to be the signing of a replacement and costs approaching their evaluation of 150 million pounds Sterling – have not yet been respected.
Liverpool, who has shown a strong interest in the front, should test Newcastle’s position with an improved offer before the transfer window is closed on September 1.
However, any transaction will depend on Newcastle securing another striker in time.
