Newcastle United received a major boost because Anthony Gordon can play in the match of the Champions League of tomorrow evening against Barcelona.
The English international was suspended for recent matches due to the red card he took over in defeat against Liverpool in St James’ Park.
Fortunately, however, Newcastle will be able to align Gordon in the Champions League, because his suspension is not valid for European competition.
Gordon’s ban is only for national games, so it’s a big boost for Eddie Howe when he is preparing for this huge confrontation against a high -level opponent.

Newcastle experienced a famous victory in the Champions League at home against Paris Saint-Germain a few years ago, but can it repeat this against Barça tomorrow evening?
The Catalan giants are the title champions of the Liga and one of the favorites to win the Champions League this season, so it will not be an easy match.
Newcastle also endured a difficult summer, losing Star striker Alexander Isak in Liverpool, although Nick Woltemade came to replace him and started strongly.
