New QBS Minnesota driver, Buffalo in the 2025 season

Drake Lindsey spent his first -year season to watch and learn touchlines.
A year later, Lindsey is ready to take the reins of Minnesota. The second-year quarter of the second year will make its beginnings at the start when the Golden Gophers will face Buffalo when the season is opened for the two teams Thursday evening in Minneapolis.
Lindsey only tried five passes last season, filling four for 50 yards and a touchdown. The previous starter Max Brosmer is now competing for a place on the Vikings of Minnesota, and the Golden Gophers have placed their confidence in Lindsey rather than acquiring a veteran in the transfer portal.
“It’s going to be very fun to watch where it all goes,” said Minnesota coach PJ Fleck. “I said that to the Big Ten Media Days: it’s not just Drake Lindsey. This is how the support casting can do around him. This will ultimately be the history of the 2025 offense.”
Minnesota has just released an 8-5 campaign which included a 24-10 victory from the end of the season on Virginia Tech in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl. The Golden Gophers started 2-3 and ended the season on a 6-2 race.

Pete Lembo de Buffalo has set a school record for most of the victories of a first -year coach. He was rewarded with a salary increase and a contract extension, and he will seek to rely on his success in two years.
“It’s a group of guys, it’s a team in my opinion that has done all the right things,” said Lembo. “We have won matches perhaps when many people did not expect us. We went to the community. … Obviously, we have a big challenge on the road to open the season. We have a lot of work to do here in the coming days to continue preparing and preparing for this challenge.”
The Ta’quan Roberson quarterrier will make his first start to his career for Buffalo. Roberson was transferred from the state of Kansas, where he finished three of the seven passes for 18 yards last season.
The main threat of Buffalo is the ball carrier Al-Jay Henderson, who overshadowed 1,000 yards on the ground in 2024. Henderson between this season on the Maxwell prize monitoring list and the Walter Camp Award.
Minnesota also has an elite back in Darius Taylor. He led the Golden Gophers with 1,336 versatile yards last season, including 986 yards and 10 touched on the ground.
