Netflix has officially revealed a significant change in One piece live-action season 2, essentially the first time that a fan-favorite character, Tony Tony Chopper’s voice was heard. The announcement was made as Jump Festa 26 drew to a close in Chiba, Japan.

Mikaela Hoover will voice Tony Tony Chopper in English for One Piece season 2, according to Netflix, meaning she’s officially a part of the franchise. This is the first news revealed by the streaming service. By choosing Hoover, she becomes the main person audiences will hear as the voice of the Straw Hats doctor in the live-action.
Alongside her, Ikue Tani is back to provide the original Japanese voice of Chopper; thus, a bridge is built between the anime and the live-action series.
The video also shed light on the massive global dubbing operation that was the main global effort behind the One piece In the live-action Season 2, a total of 17 voice actors helped bring Chopper to life around the world.
Alongside the United States, Mitchiko Tiongson (Philippines), Meaghan Dendral (France), Valentina Favazza (Italy), Okjoo Jeong (South Korea) and Nallely Sols (Mexico) are among the voice actors whose performances were highlighted.
This multilingual approach is a strong indication of Netflix’s continued commitment to Chopper as the most relatable character that resonates with viewers’ emotional side across the various international versions of the series.
The main cast of the live action, through a recorded message, congratulated Jump Festa on the voice reveal. Additionally, Netflix, through an official statement, revealed that filming for the third season is already underway.
New Cast Additions for One piece live-action season 2 includes Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, and David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, to name a few.

According to Netflix, the first season of One piece The live-action series will cover the events of the Loguetown, Reverse Mountain (Twin Capes), Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island arcs of Eiichiro Oda’s manga.
The second season consists of eight episodes, like the first season, and all episodes will be available at the same time. As the official summary says, the Straw Hats will encounter increasingly dangerous adversaries as they travel across the Grand Line, a legendary and highly unpredictable stretch of ocean.
This journey brings them these strange islands, immense dangers and some new enemies, which force Luffy and his crew to go even further in their dangerous adventures than before.
Matt Owens, the showrunner, told Netflix that Dr. Kureha would be very important in the live-action season 2 of One Piece and that he was particularly associated with the Drum Island arc.
The season also officially introduces Tony Tony Chopper to the crew, expanding the Straw Hats’ lineup as they enter the Grand Line following Season 1’s preparations.
