A man and a woman were arrested by Mumbai police this week for allegedly tried to enter the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, police officials reported on Thursday.

Police also added that the accused had made separate attempts to enter the Galaxy apartments in Bandra (west) on Tuesday and Wednesday. The man was identified as Kumar Singh, at the age of 23, while the details of the woman are still under verification.
According to police, Singh, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was seen for the first time strolling in the residence of Salman Khan around 9:45 am on Tuesday. When a policeman assigned to the actor’s safety asked him to leave, Singh reacted angrily by breaking his mobile phone on the ground.
An officer said: “That evening, Singh entered the Galaxy apartments in a car belonging to a person living in the same building. However, he was again arrested by the police. This time, they gave him to the Bandra police. ”
During the interrogation, Singh revealed that he wanted to meet the actor. He said he had tried to sneak up because the police did not allow him to enter the building, added the officer.
It was not immediately clear how Singh managed to enter the vehicle of a resident of Galaxy Apartments. A day later, the woman made a similar attempt and even managed to reach the actor’s apartment, according to the police. The officer said: “The two accused were arrested and intrusion cases were recorded against them.”
