More large explosions could be in store as A, brave wrap up series

Athletics hit five circuits in a victory in the opening match of their three -game series with the Braves, and Atlanta responded with five circuits while winning the Middle Competition.
So, entering the Set Thursday final in West Sacramento, California, it would not be a shock to see another power display.
The brave star, Ronald Acuna Jr., struck two of the circuits during the victory of Wednesday 9-2, one night after being scratched due to the waterproofing of the bottom.
The quintuple All-Star did not seem hindered when he aligned the third launch of the match far beyond the fence on the left. His other explosion went to the right center in the fourth round.
“I guess all the work they have done on him (Tuesday) during this match (helped),” said Atlanta manager Brian Snitker after Wednesday’s victory. “This morning, he said that he felt much better. It is good because these things can be embarrassing – whether it was the bed or that he said that he was moving to the weight room. … It is behind him now, I hope.”
He scored the 14th time that Abuna struck several circuits in a match outside the head of the head. Drake Baldwin struck a three -point explosion and Austin Riley and Marcell Ozuna also managed to dominate the brave a five -game slide. The victory was just their third in the last 13 games.
In the opening of the series, these are the sending of bullets all over the park. Lawrence Butler struck two circuits – one inside the park – while Nick Kurtz hit his first Grand Slam in a career. Brent Rooker and Max Muncy also struck the explosions while athletics won a 10-1 victory.
In fact, the nine points of the A de A during the first two rounds of the Tuesday competition remained in the mind of Snitker even though his team held an advance of 7-0 Wednesday.
“I’m glad we continued to score and that we continued to add because I never felt comfortable,” said Snitker. “In a place like this, I don’t think you do it.”
Athletics did not have the All-Star Jacob Wilson Cop-Clothing on Wednesday after being struck by a field during the first round of the Tuesday match. Wilson has a bruise on the left and was happy that the x -rays returned negative on Tuesday evening.
“It’s a great sigh of relief, that’s for sure,” said Wilson. “The anxiety to wait 15, 20 minutes after that. Nothing was broken. It could have been much worse, so everything is good.”
The manager of A Mark Kotsay said that Snitker had called him to apologize about Wilson. The dive was 20 years recruit Didier Fuentes, who was optionized in Triple-A Gwinnett after this outing.
Kotsay said he was not sure if Wilson could play on Thursday.
“There are pain,” Kotsay said. “The positive is that he can put a bat in his hand.”
The right-hander Spencer Strider (3-7, 3.93 ERA) will take the ball for the brave Thursday evening.
Strider abandoned his last two departures after winning the three previous decisions. He fell to the Baltimore Orioles 3-2 Friday when he abandoned three points and seven strokes in six rounds.
He beat athletics in his only departure against them on September 7, 2022. He abandoned two points and two strokes in six heats and withdrew nine on a 7-3 victory.
The left-hander JP Sears (7-7, 4.76 ERA) fired the start of athletics on Thursday. It is 0-1 with an MPM of 3.46 in two career starts against the Braves.
Sears gathered consecutive consecutive departures, launching 11 -sleeves without a goal 2/3 while beating the Giants of New York and San Francisco. Last Friday, against the Giants, he gave three shots in six rounds in a 11-2 victory.
