Mikey Day remembers having offered advice to Meryl Streep for the Sketch ‘SNL50’

Mikey Day opened on the adoption of actor advice in Meryl Streep before the SNL 50 Special episode.
THE The Devil Porte Prada Star was used to play Kate McKinnon’s mother in the long time Narrow meeting Sketch for SNL50.
To prepare for this role, she started learning her lines. However, the actress was informed that she did not have to memorize her game.
During a recent episode of Hey guy … The 90s called! Day told the hosts Christine Taylor and David Lascher whom he had given the Oscar -winning actress some advice before the sketch, which he wrote.
“She was fair, as, memorizing her almost just out of habit,” he said. “And we say to ourselves:” There are cards. “I actively tell her to go against her instinct which made her the best actress of all time.”
THE Narrow meeting Sketch is a sketch favorable to the fans who presents the character Colleen FroFFE (McKinnon) describing his experience removed by comfortable extraterrestrials.
By deciding how to write Streep in the sketch, Day said that the choice was obvious.
“She must be her mother so that she can miss, smoke a cigarette and have a sort of deceased,” said Day. “It was surreal.”
