Mike McDaniel’s clueless reaction to Tua Tagovailoa’s horrible throw goes viral after Dolphins QB makes massive mistake against Ravens

The Miami Dolphins had a very poor first half on offense in Thursday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, failing to reach the end zone and being held to a field goal every time they had a chance to score en route to a 14-6 deficit. And one moment perfectly illustrated its stench.

Approaching the final minute of the second quarter, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa batted away a pass to De’von Achane on a fourth down inside the red zone. It was their third turnover – after a fumble and a missed field goal in the first.

Then the cameras showed head coach Mike McDaniel looking up at the sky in distress:

The Ravens, however, would be unable to do anything on the next drive, being forced to punt – the fourth time they had done so. Neither did the Dolphins after that.

Tagovailoa finished the half with 15/22 completions for 152 yards. For the Ravens, Lamar Jackson completed just 8 passes for 89 yards, but scored two touchdowns – both to tight end Mark Andrews.
